  • Bacto Power

    Shinsuke Bacto Power is a unique bacterial preparation for your koi pond. It stabilizes the PH and breaks down nitrite (NO2) and nitrate (NO3) from the pond water.
    Nitrate is an inorganic compound that inhibits koi growth and reproduction. When the nitrate is filtered out of the pond water, the koi grow faster and get bigger. The chance that your koi will grow into real jumbo koi is considerable.

    Shinsuke Bacto Power makes a positive contribution to:
    – good and stable water quality
    – less development of (thread) algae
    – the optimal growth of your koi
    – the improvement of the skin quality of your koi
    – the increase of the resistance of your koi, so that you have to use less medicine for your fish

    Shinsuke Bacto Power has its origins in Japan, where the product was developed 35 years ago.
    Dosage at start-up: add 10 grams of Bacto Power per 1,000 liters of pond water.
    Maintenance dose: weekly: add 2.5 grams of Bacto Power per 1,000 liters of pond water.
    Preferably sprinkle Bacto Power in the filter, or at the inlet of the filter. Turn off any UV system and / or ozone equipment for 12 hours.

    Mix the Healthy Up Strong supplement with your koi food to optimize the health of your fish. Healthy Up Strong improves the immune system, blood circulation and the color of your koi.

    Shinsuke’s Healthy Up Strong supplement improves your koi’s ability to absorb minerals and efficiently excrete waste and endotoxins. It adjusts the function of the intestines (reduction of harmful bacteria and increase of beneficial bacteria). Good to know, in combination with Mineral Plus, the supplement can help whiten the yellow head of a koi.

    Mix 7.5 – 15 gr. Shinsuke Healthy Up Strong per 1 kilo of koi food. Give this mixture to your koi 1-3 times a week.

  • Bio Sponge

    This apparently normal sponge has a special effect. Due to the unique structure of Shinsuke Bio Sponge, desired bacteria, such as those in Bacto Power, can adhere. Waste and dirt, on the other hand, cannot accumulate. The sponge ensures optimal, biological filtration of your koi pond. Shinsuke Bio Sponge is intended for multi-chamber filters, but also very suitable for moving bed filters.

    Shinsuke Bio Sponge is based on the so-called biofilm theory. A biofilm is a layer of micro-organisms surrounded by self-produced mucus and, due to its special structure, attaches itself to the Bio Sponge. Other examples of biofilm are plaque, a slimy layer over a river boulder or the gel layer in a flower vase with old flowers. So we see different variations of biofilm in nature. 99% of all bacteria on our planet live on a biofilm. A biofilm can only develop if there is water and a bacterial source, such as in a pond.

    One package of Bio Sponge is good for 500 liters of pond water.

  • Healthy Up

    Shinsuke Healthy Up is a functional koi food made from fermented crabs, chitosan, chitin, chitosan oligosaccharide and natural carotenoids.

    Shinsuke Healthy Up is mixed with many types of vitamins to keep your koi healthy. Shinsuke Healthy Up has various effects on the koi, one of which is the improvement of blood circulation. Koi have a large amount of small blood vessels and the blood must therefore be thin to send the minerals throughout the body. The advantage of this is that the cells can efficiently secrete waste and endotoxins, resulting in a healthy metabolism and an overall better condition of the koi. This will help prevent the koi from being prone to disease.

    Sometimes koi can have yellow-tinted skin. This is due to endotoxins. Stimulating the removal of endotoxins reduces the unwanted yellowish hue. Shinsuke Healthy Up works on the koi’s mucous cells, the pigment cells, as well as the internal organs. This means that the skin becomes clearer and more radiant.

    Mineral Plus powder mineral is dissolved by an organic acid found in pond water.
